What You’ll Do

As a part-time Pro Shop Attendant, you’ll help keep our Tennis Pro Shop running smoothly by supporting members and guests with friendly, efficient service.

Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering excellent customer service and sales support
- Processing merchandise purchases using the pro shop POS system
- Answering product questions and helping customers select items
- Assisting with member requests such as phone messages and court reservations
- Keeping displays, inventory areas, and the front counter neat and organized
- Completing other tasks as assigned

Required qualifications/skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background in retail, sales, or customer service
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic computer skills; POS training provided
- Weekend availability as needed
- Tennis familiarity is helpful, but not required

A Typical Shift

You’ll arrive, get the shop ready for the day, and greet familiar faces as members stop in before or after their matches. Between quick checkouts and conversations about gear, you’ll switch to answering the phone, relaying a message, or noting a court reservation request. During slower moments, you’ll tidy the counter, straighten merchandise, and make sure the space stays welcoming. As the day moves along, you’ll stay flexible—balancing several small requests at once—so the shop feels organized and easy for members and guests to navigate right up to close.
