The Wynwood Walls Museum, one of the leading attractions in the Wynwood area, is looking for a new Full-Time Retail Ambassador for our official Wynwood Walls Shop! 

Your primary responsibilities as a Retail Ambassador would include assisting with the day-to-day operations of the shop and assisting guests with their purchases, tours, and other inquiries.

Compensation:

 $15.00 / hour, plus (2%) sales commission on all sales  

Wynwood Walls Retail Ambassador Essential Functions:

• Answer guest questions and offer information and assistance.
• Answer telephones.
• Maintain work area neat and organized.
• Maintain keys in a secure area.
• Maintain an updated vendor directory.
• Generate weekly inventory reports and analyze them.
• Prepare Retail Product purchase orders for review.
• Prepare shop supplies, packaging supplies, and customer supplies orders for review.
• Professionally deal with a high volume of traffic and difficult situations/people.
• Meet deadlines as required. Meet multiple priorities of business demands. 
• Adjust to schedule changes and cover shifts on short notice.
• Prepare new product suggestions for review.
• Update information in the computer systems as needed (i.e., post charges).
• Email management and have weekly recap addressing overstock or depletion.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor to include cross-training.
• Follow the checklist for required duties and timelines.
• Process personal and traveler’s checks
• Read, pass on logs, and communicate with the previous shift.
• Run reports and complete them, i.e., high balance, cash basis, etc.
• Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies.
• Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including cross-training.

Requirements

• 1-2 years previous relevant experience.
• Knowledge of art, Wynwood Walls and featured artists preferred.
• Detail oriented and excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Superior written and oral communication skills, customer service and phone etiquette.
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
