What you'll own as the Retention Manager

This role leads a group of advisors that strive to make a positive revenue impact across our Worldpay for Business space while providing merchants with best-in-class customer experience.

You will:

• Provide leadership for areas of responsibility including planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development and mentoring.

• Monitor staff performance, work with employees to implement goals and document progress, approve incentive compensation calculations and works with Human Resources on employee related issues.

• Responsible for activities involved in selling products and/or services, developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts.

• Participate in establishing financial goals, objectives and measurements to meet growth and retention targets.

• Develop plans, goals, strategies and objectives to achieve team goals and revenue objectives.

• Ensure development and maintenance of long-term relationships with client base.

• Partner with analysts and support staff to ensure that all team needs are met.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in financial services, preferably payments or merchant services
• Strong knowledge of integrated payments, systems, and banking practices
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience in client retention, account management, and revenue growth
• Strong analytical, organizational, and workload prioritization skills
• Effective communicator with ability to influence stakeholders and present clearly
• Skilled in negotiation, issue resolution, and managing high-pressure situations

Worldpay is dedicated to offering individuals rewarding career opportunities and competitive compensation. For this full-time position, the good faith estimated annual salary range upon hire is $73,900.00-$109,900.00. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on the role's responsibilities, level, and geographic location. The actual starting salary will be determined by a candidate's experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Please note that changes in work location may impact the final offered salary. We encourage you to consult with your recruiter to confirm the budget for your location and to better understand the applicable pay scale. This position is eligible for commission.
