Cognizance Protection Company is seeking experienced and professional Retired Police Officers to provide armed security services throughout the Baltimore region.

This opportunity is ideal for retired law enforcement professionals looking to supplement their retirement income while maintaining a flexible schedule. We offer various assignments, including scheduled shifts, short-notice coverage, and special security details.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence at assigned locations.
• Conduct routine patrols and monitor site activity.
• Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.
• Enforce site-specific security protocols.
• Complete incident reports and communicate with management as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be an active, sworn law enforcement officer in good standing.
• Must have authorization from their department to perform off-duty employment.
• Must possess a valid law enforcement ID and any required certifications.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to accept shifts throughout the Baltimore region.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism.

Position: Retired Police Officer – Armed Security Detail

Location: Silver Spring, Maryland

Employment Type: Part-Time / As-Needed (Shift Coverage)

Schedule: Flexible – Weekdays, Evenings & Weekends

Compensation: $60-$85
