Reunion Crew

Be part of the team that brings Denison’s biggest events to life!

Responsibilities:

● Assist with event logistics, hospitality, and guest services during Reunion Week, Family Weekend, and Big Red Weekend.
● Support registration, wayfinding, and event setup/breakdown
● Serve as a welcoming ambassador for alumni, families, and guests
● Work closely with AFE staff to ensure seamless event experiences
Qualifications:
● Strong communication and customer service skills
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
● Flexible, reliable, and positive attitude
● Able to take direction and implement tasks as requested
● Golf cart training preferred (but not required at the start)
● Availability to work Reunion Week, Family Weekend, and Big Red Weekend.

1. Guest Services

a. Welcoming alumni and guests, providing directions and answering questions.

b. Assist with event registration, checking in attendees, an distributing materials.

c. Track attendance at specific events and assist with seating and organization.

2. Logistics & Setup
a. Assemble and organize registration packets

b. Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring smooth logistics.

c. Provide last-minute support to event staff, including crow management and troubleshooting.

3. Alumni and VIP transportation.
a. Safely transport alumni and guests around campus using golf carts.

b. Assist guests with luggage upon arrival and departure.
c. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and provide courteous service.
 

4. Event Coordination.
a. Assist with event check in, seating arrangements, and guest assistance.
b. Provide support for class dinners, convocation, and other large-scale events c. Ensure smooth event flow and respond to guest needs.

5. Linen & Materials Distribution.

a. Pick up, organize, and distribute linen packets to designated locations.

b. Make bed according to photographs for Reunion groups 50th and above.

c. Ensure accuracy of packet count and report discrepancies.

6. Performs other duties as assigned.
