Job Overview
Workfit Medical Staffing PLLC is looking for a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and positive experience for both mother and baby. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and progress of laboring patients, including vital signs and fetal heart rates.
• Administer medications and IV infusions as prescribed, ensuring proper dosage and patient safety.
• Assist with labor management techniques, including pain relief options such as epidurals and other analgesics.
• Perform catheterization as needed, ensuring sterile techniques are followed.
• Provide support to mothers during delivery, including airway management when necessary.

Certs / Requirements

• Current nursing license with a specialization in Labor and Delivery or Maternal-Newborn nursing preferred.
• Proven experience in IV insertion, venipuncture, and basic life support techniques.
• FHM
• NRP
• Must have address 50 miles outside location
