Job Summary: RN - Med Surg (Nights)

We are hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift on our Med-Surg team in Mayfield, KY. The RN will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, including medication administration, clinical treatments, and assisting with daily living activities. This is a full-time, mid-level position with in-person attendance required.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in KY (or compact state)
• Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred)
• BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 45 days)
• New grads with a provisional KY RN license welcome

Required Skills:

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen.
• collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Plans and documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient, transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education, appropriate to age, culture, condition and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
