RN or LPN / GI Clinic

Compensation:
RN -   $31.25hr -  $46.88hr
LPN - $22.32hr -$31.63hr

Deaconess IL / Red Bud Regional Hospital is looking for a compassionate and dependable RN or LPN to join our outpatient clinic team and work alongside our Gastroenterologist.  This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys building relationships with patients, working in a clinic environment and being part of a collaborative team. 

What you will do: 

• Provide nursing care to GI patients under the direction of a Gastroenterologist. 


• Obtain medication history, perform medication reconciliation, vitals and other pertinent clinical information, 


• Assist providers with exams, procedures, diagnostic testing as appropriate to scope of practice. 


• Obtain prior authorizations for procedures and specialty medications.

  Provide medication instructions, coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, laboratory services and follow up appointments.  

  
  

   

  
  

Qualifications: 

Current Illinois RN or LPN license / BLS certification 

Clinic or gastroenterology experience is a plus but not required.
