Requirements:

Active RN license in practicing state required.

PACU, post -anesthesia, or perioperative experience preferred.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred.

Responsibilities:

Post -Anesthesia Monitoring:

Monitor vital signs, airway, and patient status postop.

Administer medications, pain management, and interventions.

Critical Response:

Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient status.

Escalate potential complications immediately.

Documentation & Teamwork:

Document patient care accurately in the chart.

Educate patients on postprocedure and discharge care.

Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
