What You'll Do


As an RN Specialty Clinic, you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a specialty clinic setting. Working closely with physicians, patients, and multidisciplinary team members, you will coordinate care, support clinical operations, and ensure patients receive the education and resources they need throughout their treatment journey.


In this role, you will:



  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical, psychological, social, and environmental needs, taking into consideration age, medical condition, and specialty-specific concerns.

  • Gather and review patient histories, laboratory results, diagnostic testing, and other relevant clinical information for provider review.

  • Coordinate and deliver nursing care in accordance with physician orders, nursing scope of practice, and organizational policies and procedures.

  • Safely administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by providers and consistent with individualized patient care plans.

  • Collaborate with scheduling staff to organize and manage specialty clinic schedules, appointments, and patient flow.

  • Adapt to changes in patient volume, acuity, and clinic needs while maintaining quality care and efficient operations.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated, patient-centered care.

  • Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, procedures, and follow-up care.

  • Foster a positive and professional work environment through collaboration, teamwork, and respectful communication.

  • Attend departmental meetings and actively contribute to team goals, quality initiatives, and patient care improvements.

  • Accurately and thoroughly document patient assessments, interventions, communications, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


What We're Looking For


Required Education



  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program


Preferred Education



  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)


Required Licenses & Certifications



  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire


Preferred Licenses & Certifications



  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification


Preferred Experience



  • Previous physician clinic experience

  • 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience

  • Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing patient needs

  • Commitment to customer service and patient-centered care

  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare technology

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
