Job Overview

The Cardiovascular Team Lead is responsible for providing direct or indirect care, under the supervision of a physician, to patients who present with urgent, emergent or potential health problems as well as preventive care. Services provided by the Cardiovascular Team Lead will include, but are not limited to, general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities and patient/family education. The Team Lead also performs job duties, which are specific to department in which they are working; these duties will require special training. They will provide care utilizing established principles and ethical standards as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess. The Cardiovascular Team Lead is responsible for the leadership, coordination and management of the daily operations, front desk personnel and clinical personnel of the department they are over. The Cardiovascular Team Leader assures that the practice functions efficiently to support the physicians and/or midlevel providers in providing safe and compassionate patient care.

Education and Experience 

• Graduate from an accredited RN school of nursing or Masters in related field, plus four years working in a health care setting.
• Experience preferred but not required.

 Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• RN’s must have a current state appropriate licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS CPR provider certification required.

Locations: Team Lead RN for Henderson and Springhill/Owensboro Heart Group Clinic.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Days, No weekends or holidays
