Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care during various cardiac procedures including:
• Interventional Radiology (IR) and catheterization lab procedures
• Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
• Electrophysiology Catheterization Studies (ECV)
• Tilt Table Tests
• Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) insertions
• Internal Loop Recorder insertions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in the on-call rotation, which involves approximately 7+ days of call per month.
• Work within a four-person call team, ensuring adequate coverage and support.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
• Previous experience in a cardiac cath lab or similar clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
