Roadway Engineer – Transportation


Wichita, KS | $80,000–$90,000/year

What you’ll do:


• Assist with the design and production of transportation projects
• Support project managers with roadway, bridge, drainage, and traffic-control design
• Help prepare plans, proposals, and client presentations
• Provide guidance and instruction to production staff
• Attend client meetings and help ensure designs meet project objectives
• Manage multiple project tasks while meeting deadlines


What you’ll need:


• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• 1–5+ years of experience with DOT, municipal, or county transportation projects
• Experience with Civil 3D and/or MicroStation products such as OpenRoads, InRoads, or GeoPak preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Kansas PE license preferred, or ability to obtain one in a timely manner
• Knowledge of local transportation standards and requirements preferred
• Strong organization, communication, presentation, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under deadlines
