Position Expectations:

• Trim excess plastic from parting lines


• Inspect product and communicate findings back to the supervisor


• Assembly product in accordance with the specific work instruction


• Select correct hand tools for the job task with setup documents or supervisor/lead assistance


• Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations


• Account for time and work completed via written documents


• Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance


• Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues


• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards


• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Able to maintain a reliable and consistent attendance record, required


• Able to multi-task and rotate to other positions and/or departments, as needed, required


• Push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally, required


• Must be able to twist, turn, extend, pivot, duck, crawl, climb, crouch, bend, stoop, carry, and walk briskly, required


• Must be a team player and work well in a team environment, required


• Must be able to maintain continual improvement, required


• Work in a hot environment and stand for up to 8-10 hours a day, required


• Mandatory OT as needed to meet production schedules and goals, required


• High attention to detail, required


• Good communication and interpersonal skills, required


• Make routing decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance


• Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues


• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards


• Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired


• Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change


• Work in an efficient and timely manner


• Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiency


• Demonstrated detail orientation, seld-motivation skills and ability to multi task


• Other duties as assigned

Pay:

• The open position stated above starts at $18.50 an hour
