Detail Coordinator

Position Summary
The Detail Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the cleaning, preparation, movement, and presentation of RVs and other inventory throughout the dealership. This position works closely with the Sales and Service Departments to ensure all sold units are cleaned, organized, and ready for customer delivery. The Detail Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe shop and surrounding apron, maintaining lot presentation, coordinating older inventory for re-lotting and photography, managing golf cart storage and display, and assisting the Service Department as needed.
Sold Unit Preparation & Delivery
- Work directly with the Sales and Service Departments to ensure all sold units are cleaned, detailed, and ready for customer delivery.
- Maintain a steady workflow of units through the detailing process to prevent delays in deliveries.
- Communicate with Sales and Service regarding the status of units and prioritize units based on scheduled deliveries.
- Verify that completed units are properly positioned and ready for final delivery.
Shop & Apron Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shop and surrounding apron.
- Clean up and properly organize removed or replaced items, including old refrigerators and other large components.
- Store removed parts and equipment in the appropriate location when they need to be retained.
- Keep work areas, walkways, and surrounding areas free of unnecessary debris and clutter.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient shop environment.
Inventory & Old-Age Unit Coordination
- Coordinate with Service and Sales on older inventory units that need to be pulled in, cleaned, repositioned, and re-lotted.
- Help maintain a steady rotation of inventory so older units receive appropriate attention.
- Coordinate with Hannah to ensure new photographs are taken once older units have been cleaned and are ready for updated presentation.
- Assist with positioning units appropriately for photography and sales presentation.
Lot Presentation
- Maintain and oversee the overall presentation and organization of the dealership lot.
- Work with Gage to ensure the lot remains clean, organized, and presentable.
- Assist with moving and re-lotting units as needed to maintain an attractive and organized inventory layout.
- Ensure units are positioned appropriately and that the lot provides a professional appearance for customers.
- Identify and address areas of the lot that need cleaning, organization, or attention.
Golf Cart Storage & Display
- Manage the storage and display of golf carts.
- Pull golf carts into the appropriate storage area at night and re-lot them in the morning.
- Maintain an organized and presentable golf cart display.
- Coordinate movement and positioning of golf carts as needed for sales, display, and lot organization.
Service Department Support
- Assist Service Technicians when additional help is needed.
- Provide an extra hand with general shop tasks and unit preparation.
- Assist the Service Department with pulling campers into and out of the shop.
- Help move and position units as needed to maintain an efficient shop workflow.
- Support technicians with appropriate non-technical tasks when requested.

- Lot presentation remains clean, organized, and customer-ready.
- Older inventory is properly coordinated for cleaning, re-lotting, and updated photography.
- Golf carts are properly stored, displayed, and moved according to dealership needs.
- Communicate effectively with Sales, Service, and other dealership personnel.
- Be willing to assist other departments when needed to maintain overall dealership workflow.
- Maintain a professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach to daily responsibilities.
General Expectations
The Detail Coordinator is expected to take ownership of the appearance, movement, and readiness of dealership inventory while supporting the Sales and Service Departments. This position requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
