Safety Consultant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in establishing a safety culture within policyholder.


• Work with other consultants to conduct loss surveys, verify compliance, and identify unsafe conditions.


• Assist with gathering information and documenting to comply with site safety plans, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.


• Work with policyholders to support policies and procedures that prevent accidents.


• Interact with lead  consultants to provide corrective and reinforcing feedback to policyholders.


• Support lead consultants affirming policyholder implementation of safety policies and procedures.


• Adapting to a flexible, paced, and dynamic work environment consistent with organizational core values and the mission statement.


• Develop the ability to write and implement written site-specific safety management plans.


• Gain an understanding of oil and gas, heavy construction, transportation, maritime, USL&H, and specialty contractor environments and risks.


• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS
