Responsible for monitoring safety policies and procedures within the workplace, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, conducting safety inspections, providing safety training to employees, and working with management to identify and address potential hazards, ultimately aiming to prevent workplace injuries and maintain a safe working environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Enforce safety policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and government regulations, such as OSHA and county/city directives.
Conduct routine inspections of work areas, equipment, and operations to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
Deliver safety training meetings to employees.
Maintain and collaborate on vehicle fleet records with management.
Work closely with supervisors and managers to address safety concerns and implement safety improvements, while ensuring the company is adhering to all applicable laws.
Develop relationships with subcontractors, city/county officials, and provider employees.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and educate employees.
Possess analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple aspects regarding safety initiatives.
Must be able to satisfactorily pass a drug/alcohol screening
Must have a driver’s license in good standing without major violations in the last 5 years
Education and Experience:
Associates degree or higher required
OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire)
Advanced TTC Certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire)

Physical Requirements:
Must be comfortable with travel up to 75%
Travel will include overnight stays at remote job sites, including visits to headquarters location in Illinois
Position is primarily a field position with exposure to extreme temperatures
