Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager specializing in excavation to join our team in Noblesville, IN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all excavation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in development and enforcement of safety policies and procedures specific to excavation activities.


• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.


• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.


• Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks for excavation crews.


• Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.


• Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to promote a culture of safety.


• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.


• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to excavation safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Safety Manager in excavation or related construction fields.


• Strong knowledge of OSHA excavation standards and safety regulations.


• Excellent communication and leadership skills.


• Ability to conduct thorough safety audits and risk assessments.


• Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST) is preferred.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
