Sales Agronomist

Are you someone who enjoys agronomy sales but doesn't want to operate on an island? Do you want to build business, work directly with growers, and have a team behind you that helps take care of the customers you bring in?

You'll work directly with growers to understand their operations, recommend agronomic solutions, develop new business, and grow existing relationships across seed, fertilizer, crop protection products, and services.

What makes this different?

You aren't expected to win a customer and then take care of everything yourself. Sales and operations work together. When you bring in new business, the entire team helps deliver on what was promised and works together to retain and grow that customer.

The compensation reflects that approach. You can be rewarded for producing without having to depend on an unpredictable commission check to make ends meet.

What we're looking for

You should:

• Understand production agriculture and be able to build credibility with growers.
• Enjoy selling and be willing to pursue new business.
• Identify opportunities and make solid agronomic recommendations.
• Want to be part of a team rather than operate on your own.
• Be willing to help operationally when needed, including some spraying and chemical delivery during busy seasons.
• Take ownership of your customers and follow through.

Agronomy sales experience is preferred, but relevant experience in agronomy, application, crop production, or ag retail can provide a strong foundation for the right person.

This is a smaller, hands-on organization where everyone contributes. You'll have the freedom to build relationships and bring in business without being left alone to service everything you've sold.
