Salary: $65,000 annually
Additional Compensation: Monthly car allowance
POSITION SUMMARY
The Outside Sales Associate is responsible for driving new business, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within an assigned healthcare territory. This role focuses on engaging physicians, clinical staff, and administrative decision-makers while delivering exceptional service, education, and field support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with territory goals
Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities
Deliver professional sales presentations and demonstrations to healthcare professionals
Support contract discussions and assist in closing agreements with hospitals, clinics, and private practices
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare community
Provide ongoing education and support on product use, value propositions, and best practices
Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback
Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market dynamics
Track and analyze sales performance to recommend strategy adjustments
Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory updates
Maintain high standards of compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Keep detailed, up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities
Collaborate closely with regional leadership and field partners
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
Outside sales experience required
Prior experience selling into healthcare environments preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Education
Associate degree with relevant experience required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation and closing capabilities
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage a sales territory
Proficiency with CRM platforms and standard business software
Understanding of healthcare environments and clinical workflows
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly
Flexibility to work occasional irregular hours as needed

Travel
Frequent travel to healthcare facilities across the assigned territory is required
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Routine visits to hospitals, clinics, and medical offices
Ability to lift and transport medium-sized boxes and samples as needed
