JOB OVERVIEW

The Sales Coordinator at The Cloudveil is a crucial member of our Sales Team. This role both supports and leads several functions which enable our team to execute groups and events effectively, provide personalized and high-touch experiences for our VIP leisure guests, and represent our Michelin Key hotel in Jackson Hole through important community partnerships.

REPORTS TO

Director of Sales and Marketing

WORK DYNAMIC/SCHEDULE

Our Sales Coordinator is typically on property Monday through Friday from about 8am-4pm, except on occasional evenings or weekends as needed based on events or activations.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: Sales and Event Managers, Pathfinders, and Guest Service Managers.

External: Travel agencies, group & meeting planners, Marriott Global and Account Sales organizations, local community vendors and partners

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Primary lead catcher and distributor for the hotel, fielding both e-channel and phone leads and assigning to Sales Managers as needed

· Assists with managing group room blocks in support of our Conference Services Manager (i.e. rooming lists, updates, and special requests)

· Manages local partnerships and facilitates on-property activations in the hotel's common spaces as a way of providing fun, value-added experiences for our guests and the local community

· Manages pre-arrival reservations and arrangements (i.e. amenities and special requests) for luxury consortia guests (i.e. Fine Hotels and Resorts, Chase The Edit, and Luminous stays)

· Coordinates live music, yoga, and other guest-engagement bookings throughout the year

· Creates weekly event calendars, placed in our common spaces and guestrooms, which help guests discover the many happenings in Jackson Hole throughout their stay at The Cloudveil

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

· College degree or equivalent experience

· 2+ years of experience in hotel sales, preferably at an upscale, full-service hotel

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to manage time effectively, handling multiple projects at a time and meeting deadlines

· Ability to effectively liaise between hotel and client, communicating clearly both verbally and through email

· Excellent attention to detail

· Sales aptitude, building relationships to assist with selling, upselling and re-booking the business

· Mastery of Microsoft Office

The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In addition, the hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
