CORE VALUES: * Helpful * Humble * Aware * Driven POSITION OVERVIEW: The Sales Coordinator is an entry-level sales support role designed to provide exceptional customer service while serving as a developmental pathway into sales functions. This position serves as the first point of contact for prospective homebuyers, creating welcoming and professional experience while providing administrative and operational support to the Sales team. The Sales Coordinator floats between communities to provide model home and inventory home coverage, supports daily sales operations, and gains hands-on experience in the new home sales process through structured training and on-the-job learning. This role is intended to build the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary for future opportunities within the Sales organization. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required for this position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Welcome and engage prospective homebuyers visiting model homes and communities.
- Register visitors and maintain accurate customer information within the Company's CRM system.
- Answer general questions regarding communities, floor plans, available homes, and the homebuying process.
- Schedule appointments and assist with customer follow-up activities.
- Provide model home and inventory home coverage across multiple communities as needed.
- Support Sales Consultants by preparing paperwork, marketing materials, reports, and other administrative tasks.
- Assist with community events, grand openings, realtor functions, and other sales initiatives.
- Maintain model homes to Company presentation standards.
- Participate in sales meetings, coaching sessions, and ongoing training programs.
- Learn Company sales processes, products, basic financing, and customer experience expectations.
- Obtain and maintain a Pennsylvania Real Estate License if not already licensed.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Sales organization.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in supporting Marketing/Sales teams preferred
- Customer service, hospitality, retail, marketing or sales experience preferred.
- Strong inrpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn CRM and other sales technology platforms.
- Professional appearance and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule based on business needs.
- Ability to travel regularly between communities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT: This position is designed as a developmental role that prepares employees for future career opportunities within Berks Homes' Sales and Marketing organizations. Through hands-on experience, coaching, and formal training, employees will develop competencies in customer engagement, sales operations, product knowledge, lead management, brand representation, and the new home sales process. Employees are encouraged to obtain and maintain their Pennsylvania Real Estate License and build the skills and experience necessary for advancement into Sales Consultant, Marketing, or other customer-facing and operational roles.
