Job Description - Sales Development Representative

About Hike Medical

Hike Medical is building the defining company in musculoskeletal care. We sit at the intersection of AI, robotics, and healthcare, operating across three product lines: a proprietary AI-vision platform that turns a 30 second web-based foot scan into custom 3D-printed orthotics, an AI agent platform that automates the entire DME workflow from pre-visit processing to claims and revenue cycle, and SoleForge, our vertically integrated 3D printing factory producing custom medical devices at a scale the industry has never seen.

The Opportunity

As a Clinical SDR, you are the engine of our provider growth. You will be prospecting into Orthotic & Prosthetic (O&P) clinics, Podiatry practices, and Physical Therapy centers.

Your goal is to get clinic owners and practitioners to take a demo of the Hike platform. You are selling "Digital Transformation" to small business owners who are often stuck in analog workflows. You need to be comfortable bypassing gatekeepers (front desk staff) and speaking credible medical/business language to doctors and practice managers.

You’ll:

  • Master the SMB Hustle: Drive high-volume outreach (60-80 calls/day) to clinics across the US. You know how to charm a receptionist and get a decision-maker on the line.

  • Pitch Practice Economics: You won't just talk about "insoles"; you’ll talk about billable hours, workflow efficiency, and profit margins. You will explain how Hike helps them see more patients in less time.

  • Qualify Clinical Needs: Assess current fabrication methods (Do they still use plaster? Who is their current lab?) to create a wedge for our Account Executives.

  • Educate the Market: Many of these clinics are old-school. You are the evangelist showing them that AI scanning is PDAC-approved, reimbursable, and superior to manual casting.

What Excites Us

Selling to doctors and clinic owners requires a specific type of polish and persistence. We are looking for:

  • The "Clinic" Hunter: 1–3 years of sales experience, ideally targeting SMBs, medical practices, dental offices, or independent pharmacies.

  • Gatekeeper Ninja: You don't fear the "Doctor is with a patient" objection. You know how to navigate phone trees and front-desk staff with respect and tenacity.

  • Coachability: You can learn the difference between a pronated foot and a supinating foot, and you aren't afraid to learn the basics of medical reimbursement.

  • High Motor: This is a volume game. You are energetic, organized, and can manage a pipeline of hundreds of potential clinics without letting leads slip through the cracks.

What You’ll Own

  • Meeting Setting: Booking 15+ qualified demos per month for our Clinical Account Executives.

  • Pipeline Management: Managing a high volume of leads in HubSpot, ensuring rigorous follow-up.

  • Campaign Feedback: helping Marketing understand which messaging lands best with O&P professionals vs. Podiatrists.
