Sales Development Representative

Alice partners with the world's leading AI labs and GenAI-native companies to help them build safer, more trustworthy models. We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to fuel new customer acquisition across our GenAI Safety Services portfolio.

In this role, you will own the top of the sales funnel for new GenAI customers - from first touch to qualified meeting - working closely with our Account Executives to position Alice as a long-term strategic partner. You'll engage with senior business, product, research, and safety stakeholders at frontier AI labs, GenAI-native companies, and hyperscalers, helping them understand how AI safety, red teaming, and model evaluation programs can support their most critical initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, consultative sales environments and is excited to sell into fast-moving, frontier-AI organizations.

Responsibilities

• Drive Alice's growth through inbound and outbound prospecting efforts, generating sales leads that will turn into opportunities and closed business.
• Learn from our well-seasoned sales team and help build out our world-class Sales Playbook and Tech Stack.
• Educate and develop leads through inbound or outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, events, webinars, and assorted campaigns.
• Identify and develop an in-depth understanding of each lead generation process, supporting marketing activities, prospect touch-points, and the handoff to an Account Executive.
• Generate email sequences, and make cold calls to map and penetrate accounts across frontier AI labs, GenAI-native companies, and hyperscalers.
• Conduct follow-up calls and emails until meetings are set.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Commercial & Prospecting Experience: 3–4 years in sales development or a similar outbound commercial role, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a quota-carrying role.
• Outbound Execution & Copywriting: Strong ability to write high-converting email copy and build effective outreach sequence campaigns.
• Self-Direction & Problem-Solving: Ability to work autonomously, self-source solutions, and take a self-motivated, results-driven approach to prospecting.
• Interpersonal & Relationship Building: Exceptional communication skills with a track record of collaborating across teams to refine processes and workflows.
• Organization & Adaptability: Strong time management skills and comfort operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Mindset & Drive: High intelligence, strong work ethic, and an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Industry Experience: Background in AI, Machine Learning, or cybersecurity.
• Target Audience Familiarity: Experience selling directly to technical personas (engineering, research, or security leadership).
• Environment: Previous experience working within a fast-growing, early-stage startup.
• Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft).

The salary range for this role in the US is $130k to $148k OTE and stock options - Range may vary based on experience. Salary at the time of offer will be commensurate with experience.
