Job Description - Sales Development Representative (SDR)

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representative to join our growing sales team in Miami.
The SDR is a sales position designed for someone looking to build a career in B2G technology sales and business development. You will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, researching target accounts, initiating conversations with decision-makers, and creating qualified sales opportunities for SuperCom's Regional Sales Managers and sales leadership.
This is a highly active role involving prospecting by phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels. SuperCom will provide training on our products, industry, and sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify prospective customers, including government agencies, private service providers, probation organizations, and other relevant business opportunities.
Conduct consistent outbound prospecting through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
Engage decision-makers, introduce SuperCom's electronic monitoring solutions, and identify customer needs, business challenges, and potential opportunities.
Qualify prospects based on business needs, timing, authority, and opportunity potential.
Schedule qualified meetings, product demonstrations, and introductory calls for Regional Sales Managers and sales leadership.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities through consistent follow-up and relationship development.
Maintain accurate prospect, contact, and activity information in SuperCom's CRM.
Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and sales leadership on target accounts and opportunities.
Stay informed about SuperCom's products, technology, competitors, industry activity, upcoming opportunities, and contracts.
Meet established daily, weekly, and monthly activity and performance objectives.
Requirements
1-2 years of relevant experience in sales or business development, inside sales or a related role.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Experience with outbound calling, lead generation or appointment setting, as well as B2G or technology sales experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable making outbound phone calls and communicating with new prospects and decision-makers.
Strong work ethic and willingness to consistently prospect.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
Ability to learn new technology and communicate information clearly.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field- an advantage.
Experience in electronic monitoring, public safety, government technology, SaaS, telecommunications, security, or a related industry - an advantage.
Comfortable in a performance-driven environment: Understands that activity and results are measured against defined objectives.
