You, our Ideal Candidate The Event Coordinator is responsible for all aspects related to planning sales events. Acts as facilitator and communicates with various departments and outside partners to ensure a successful event. This position requires strong communication with team members, residents and family members Responsibilities
- Plans and facilitates prospect events with dining and other departments to include creation of invitations, reservations, event details, etc.
- Builds relationships with incoming residents and families.
- Plans and assists with execution of events, to include lead generation opportunities.
- Assists staff with a variety of projects and requests with a focus on sales, marketing and hospitality.
- Provides coverage for Sales department in the absence of Administrative Assistant and Sales Specialist.
- Contact referral sources as needed.
- Complete Sherpa to identify event ideas.
Requirements
High School Diploma. College degree in related field preferred.
Related experience in marketing, sales, and event planning and/or customer service preferred.
Experience in a continuing care retirement community a plus.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License.
- Must possess a customer service background and orientation with demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Microsoft office proficiency.
- Demonstrates initiative along with excellent organizational skills.
- High level of patience and compassion for others.
