Sales Information Systems CPQ Administrator is a career opportunity for an individual with excellent verbal and written analytical skills, computer database skills and good organizational ability. We are looking for an individual who has experience in data review and input using Excel/Access and is well-organized. The Sales Information System CPQ Administrator will maintain the backend data and configuration rules for the Utility CPQ Quote System. Additional responsibilities include, being the primary point of reference for CPQ functionally and option availability for UTM Dealer, Regional Managers, Engineering, and factory personnel.

UTMC is headquartered in City of Industry, California.  This is an on-site position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Phone/Teams support to Dealer and internal users of the Tacton CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) application.


• Configure and maintain data in the CPQ for quote creation.


• Create, update and maintain configuration rules in the CPQ system.


• Create and maintain CPQ training material for Dealer and internal users.


• Assist with maintenance and updates to the CPQ system (front end and work flow)


• Create reports from Access and Excel tools (developed in house) from AS400 and other data for use by multiple departments.


• Refine and develop tools in Excel and Access for analytic reporting to the UTM Sales group.


• Maintain Options file data for External users and internal users.


• Data entry


• Data analytics (frequencies)


• Interdepartmental communication


• Communicate option availability to multiple departments/users (internal and external).

  • Research trailer parts information (catalogs and websites).

• Support the creation of VIN labels for all factories (via an in-house program).


• Complete related tasks in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• 1-2 years of experience with administration of a CPQ (Tacton, Sales Force, or similar product).


• Computer Proficient (MS Office, AS400, database queries).


• Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving.


• A team player with high level of dedication.


• Customer Service Experience (Experience in Sales, as a Sales Coordinator or other administrative position preferred)


• Mechanically inclined.


• Associate Degree (preferred)

 Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, prioritize, and draw valid conclusions.

Compensation

Salary Range: $59,000- $64,000 annually
