Job Description - Sales Operations Manager

Summary: This role is designed for a hands-on Sales Operations Manager to build the operating backbone for our growing, four-region sales organization. As we grow, our sales team needs more consistent data, clearer processes, stronger forecasting, and better follow-through. This role will own the systems, reporting, and operating infrastructure that allow our VP of Sales, regional leaders, and approximately 30 Business Development Managers to manage performance more effectively. This is not a back-office reporting role. The Sales Operations Manager will work closely with Sales leadership to diagnose problems, design practical solutions, and make sure new processes are adopted, as well as partner across Marketing, Finance, Product, Technology, and Operations.

  • This person needs to have experience with Sales / Revenue Operations and needs to be strong with analytics and Microsoft Excel
  • Also, important to have some maturity and seniority because they will report to VP of Sales, and make sure Senior Managers are complying with processes.
  • Also need to have the ability to envision and build new processes, reporting and tools
  • Experience in Hubspot is a very good differentiator but not required.

 

What Some Responsibilities Entail:

  • Refine and maintain sales KPIs and standardize scorecards at the company, region, RBDM, BDM, and channel levels.

  • Produce account-level forecasts and actionable target lists

  • Build repeatable materials and action tracking for L10s, 1:1s, pipeline reviews, Account reviews, and annual planning.

  • Serve as the Sales business owner for HubSpot processes, data standards, workflows, dashboards, and adoption controls

  • Partner with Technology on HubSpot configuration, integrations, testing, and data reconciliation across other sales systems

  • Reduce manual reporting through standardized data models, automation, and self-service dashboards

  • Support territory, capacity, quota, and sales-compensation planning in partnership with Sales leadership and Finance

  • Build and maintain the infrastructure for onboarding, the Sales Playbook, skill tracking, and performance evaluations.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience with pipeline management, forecasting, territory or account assignment, leading routing, and performance reporting.

  • Ability to translate business needs into clear processes and system requirements

  • Strong project-management skills and a record of taking cross-functional initiatives from definition through adoption.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence leaders without direct authority.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Helpful Experience:

  • Travel, tour operator, cruise, hospitality, or travel-advisor distribution experience.

  • Affinity, dealer, franchise, channel, or other relationship-based sales models.

  • HubSpot administration or certification.

  • Power BI, Tableau, Looker, SQL, or experience working with a data warehouse.

  • Softrip, TourTools, or comparable travel-industry platforms.

  • EOS or another structured operating system.
