Job Description - Sales Representative for Cloud Software Company

Job Description

The Sales Development Representative position is one of the most critical roles at Blink Awards. The role is designed to generate new business opportunities to fuel our growth. You will create and prioritize strategic target account lists, conduct high-level conversations with senior executives, execute targeted email campaign strategies and develop rapport with prospective clients as you funnel them through the sales cycle.

 

You will be working directly with a wide variety of small to medium size business leaders and HR practitioners at some of the most innovative and fast growing companies in the world, helping them leverage best practices and engage their usage of the Blink Awards platform.  Our SAAS software solution helps companies engage employees and build a positive culture.  It’s a job you can feel good about everyday.

 

This is a great opportunity for someone who is results-oriented and a self-starter. Ideal candidate should be comfortable with managing multiple priorities, fantastic communication skills, SaaS experience and have outstanding customer facing skills.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify small and medium sized businesses as target customers
  • Build a sales pipeline with qualified opportunities
  • On-site sales calls with face to face contact with small business owners
  • Assist with creation of sales collateral materials
  • Develop and execute sales campaign strategies (including email or telephone)
  • Follow up with all leads and nurture them through the sales cycle
  • Track communications with prospects in Salesforce
  • Create reports in Salesforce to manage tasks, sales priorities and reports to management
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience selling SAAS or enterprise software
  • Successful sales, lead generation or business development track record
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com CRM solution
  • Enjoys working with people, listening to them and solving problems
  • Have high energy and enthusiasm
  • Positive attitude, persistence and a tenacity to succeed
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
