Our Sanding team prepares MDF cabinet components for adhesive and thermofoil application. By identifying and correcting surface imperfections before components move to the next production stage, you will help prevent rework, remakes, delays, and customer concerns. What You Will Become: You will develop strong skills in sanding, surface preparation, quality inspection, equipment care, and manufacturing processes. The Exciting Things You’ll Do:
- Operate orbital and square sanders to prepare MDF cabinet components.
- Remove CNC router marks, scratches, dents, lines, and other surface imperfections.
- Sand edges, profiles, and detailed areas without changing the part’s dimensions or design.
- Inspect components before and after sanding to confirm they meet quality standards.
- Rework or identify parts that do not meet surface-quality requirements.
- Prevent over-sanding that could affect the part’s profile or finished appearance.
- Maintain sanders, pads, abrasives, and other assigned tools.
- Track basic production output and report issues affecting quality or productivity.
- Keep your workstation clean, organized, and free from dust buildup.
- Work closely with the CNC, spray booth, and press teams to maintain production flow.
- Follow all PPE, dust-control, equipment-safety, housekeeping, and 6S requirements.

Nice-to-haves:
- Previous sanding, finishing, or surface-preparation experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with MDF, wood products, or cabinet components.
- Experience using orbital sanders, square sanders, abrasives, or other finishing tools.
- Familiarity with finishing, lamination, or surface-quality standards.
- Familiarity with 6S practices or basic production tracking.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills.
