An SAP HANA Administrator, DB2, MAXDB and QLIK Admin is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing databases and pipeline databases. The role ensures system availability, performance, security, and reliability while supporting both project and operational requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n1\\. Installation \u0026 Configuration\n\n * Install and configure SAP HANA database systems, including multi\u2011tenant (MDC) and scale\u2011out environments.\n * Deploy and configure SAP HANA Studio, HANA Cockpit, SAP Host Agent, and related components.\n * Perform system provisioning, including tenant database creation and system renaming.\n\n\n\n2\\. System Administration\n\n * Manage system start/stop, parameter tuning, and system health checks.\n * Perform regular housekeeping tasks such as log management, disk management, and memory optimization.\n * Monitor CPU, memory, network, and disk usage using HANA Cockpit, DBACOCKPIT, and OS tools.\n\n\n\n3\\. Backup, Recovery \u0026 DR\n\n * Design and implement backup and recovery strategies (file, storage snapshots, Backint).\n * Validate and perform system refreshes, recoveries, and disaster recovery testing.\n * Manage HANA system replication (HSR) and failover operations.\n\n\n\n4\\. Security \u0026 User Administration\n\n * Manage roles, privileges, users, and authentication methods.\n * Ensure compliance with security policies, encryption (SSL/TLS), auditing, and secure store configurations.\n * Coordinate periodic security patching and system hardening.\n\n\n\n5\\. Performance Monitoring \u0026 Optimization\n\n * Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks, slow queries, and memory pressure.\n * Work with development and functional teams to optimize SQL queries and models.\n\n\n\n6\\. Upgrades \u0026 Patching\n\n * Plan and execute HANA version upgrades,QLIK, Db2 .\n * Apply SAP Notes and maintain current documentation of change activities.\n\n\n\n7\\. Landscape Support\n\n * Support SAP Application Databases - SAP Hana, DB2, MAXDB and QLIK\n * Collaborate with BASIS, infra, networking, and storage teams.\n * Manage multi\u2011environment landscapes: DEV, QA, UAT, PROD.\n\n\n\n8\\. Troubleshooting\n\n * Diagnose system failures, performance issues, and replication problems.\n * Interface with SAP OSS to resolve complex incidents.\n * Respond to system alerts and provide on\u2011call support when required.\n\n\n\n9.QLIK Admin:\n\n * Configuration of QLIK and setup the endpoint connections\n * Fixing QLIK interface issues with Source database and target Databricks\n * Coordination with other teams\n\n\n\nRequired Skills \u0026 Qualifications\n\nTechnical Skills\n\n * Strong expertise in SAP HANA 2.0 administration, Db2, QLIK and MAXDB Database Administration.\n * Experience with Linux OS administration (SUSE/RHEL).\n * Knowledge of HANA architecture, Db2 Architecture, QLIK, BDC, memory management, and column-store concepts.\n * Experience with HANA system replication, high availability, and disaster recovery.\n * Familiarity with SAP, NetWeaver, and SAP application integration.\n * Proficiency in SQL, performance monitoring, and trace analysis.\n * Understanding of cloud\u2011based deployments Azure\n\n\n\nSoft Skills\n\n * Strong analytical and problem\u2011solving abilities.\n * Good communication and documentation skills.\n * Ability to work in 24/7 support environments and handle production-critical issues.\n\n\n\nEducation \u0026 Experience\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.\n * 12+ years of experience in SAP HANA and Database administration\n * SAP certifications (optional but preferred):\n * SAP Certified Technology Associate \u2013 SAP HANA\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree (Required)\n\n### Skills\n\nDatabase Administration, Database Systems, DB2 Administration, SAP HANA Administration\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n7 - 10 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 10% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$122,000.00 - $168,000.00\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
