The work
The SAP Interface specialist is responsible for the technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post‑release support of SAP interfaces. The role incorporates a combination of SAP ABAP skills and modern API frameworks to enable system‑to‑system communication, data exchange, and integration. Understanding of best practices and modern, standard API integration techniques is required. Responsibilities include defining integration requirements, participating in large systems and subsystem planning, ensuring adherence to schedules, and developing technical integration documentation (including interface data mapping documents for XML, flat files, iDocs, and eDocs). The SAP Interface specialist works closely with the functional team and middleware team to translate business requirements into technical interface design.
