Sauté\Grill Line Cook| Little Mama’s Italian
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sauté\Grill Cook with a background in high-volume, scratch kitchens. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in consistency, and has a passion for Italian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and execute sauté station dishes including pasta, sauces, and entrées
• Control cooking temperatures and timing to ensure quality and consistency
• Prepare all food prep required for the station
• Manage multiple orders in a high-volume environment
• Coordinate with other kitchen stations for efficient service
• Plate dishes according to restaurant standards
• Maintain proper mise en place and station readiness
• Monitor inventory and restock station as needed
• Follow all recipes, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen
• Strong understanding of sauté techniques and professional cooking methods
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for long periods (8+ hours)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
