Job Description - Sauté/Grill Cook

Harrison Meadows Country Club is seeking a full-time Sauté/Grill Cook! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

Pay:

$23.00 per hour

General Purpose:

The Sauté/Grill Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality menu items in accordance with established recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines. This position plays a critical role in executing à la carte and banquet service with consistency, speed, and attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute all grilled menu items including proteins, sandwiches, and accompaniments according to recipes and plating standards

Maintain proper cooking temperatures, portion control, and food presentation at all times

Set up and break down the grill station before and after service

Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service standards and ticket times

Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in compliance with local health regulations

Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked grill station throughout service

Communicate effectively with chefs, expeditors, and fellow line cooks during service

Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and labeling as needed

Properly store food items following FIFO standards

Support other kitchen stations as business levels require
