Position: Saw Operator

Direct Start is partnering with a reputable manufacturing company in search of an experienced Saw Operator. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating a Marvel saw and will be able to work on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 6am-4pm with the potential for overtime on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

- Operate a Marvel saw to cut various materials according to specifications

- Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine cutting requirements

- Adjust saws to ensure accurate and precise cuts

- Inspect materials for defects and make necessary adjustments to the saw

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

- Meet production quotas and deadlines

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years experience operating a Marvel saw

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams

- Strong attention to detail and ability to make precise cuts

- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Good communication skills

- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs

- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
