Scaler

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Strong safety work ethic and ability to intervene with customers regarding safety behaviors if needed
• Highly motivated self-starter who performs effectively alone, providing a high degree of customer service
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Able to handle multiple priorities and takes pride in accuracy and quality of work
• Strong computer skills, including Excel and Word
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong positive work ethic

 The following qualifications are preferred:

• Ability to operate heavy equipment -- large scale forklift or front-end loader
• Must be able to obtain PIT certification.
• Must be able to pass a state licensing exam
• Knowledge of SAP & WeighWiz
• Accounting background preferred
• Knowledge of Raw Materials / Veneer / Plywood operations a plus
