Who We're looking for
We’re seeking Full-Time Scheduling Specialist to join our Housing Team. The BHS Scheduling Specialist is a full-time role (Thursday-Monday) that provides scheduling services based on the changes made within the scheduling system. This role must instantaneously communicate all changes related to scheduling to their direct supervisor and manager of the corresponding location. This role requires on-call hours, Friday through Sunday from 5:01pm-7:59am for call-outs. 
This role works collaboratively with the Scheduling Supervisor of Housing, coworkers, and temp agency personnel to ensure daily scheduling meets the immediate needs of the program.
Key Responsibilities 
  • Notifying scheduling supervisor, and manager of corresponding location, of any scheduling change due to cancellations instantaneously
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with staff by building rapport through positive communication, emulating compassion to staff’s needs, and displaying professionalism through treating others with dignity and respect.
  • Responsible for ensuring shift coverage and may need to provide direct coverage at assigned site until additional staff are secured and able to relieve them.
  • Ability to work proficiently with staff schedules, Temp Agencies, and people first Training calendars, and monthly leadership meetings
  • Ensures that all schedules are reviewed, obtained, verified when necessary, and managed according to departmental specifications;
  • Ability to assess behavioral situations between staff and members and utilizes crisis management to guide staff as applicable
Qualifications 
  • Must be at least 21 years old. Requires any combination of training, education, and experience listed below:
  • A master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in a field related to behavioral health
  • A bachelor’s degree and at least one year of full-time behavioral health work experience
  • Associate degree and at least two years of full-time behavioral health work experience
  • High school diploma or equivalency diploma and four years of full-time behavioral health work experience
  • At least two years of demonstrated responsible administrative experience
