School Nurses - Academic Year 2024-2025

Work full time, part-time or PRN for the upcoming academic year, 2023-2024 school year.

Pay: $35-$37/hr

 Job Description:

• Oversee the emotional, mental, physical and social health of students.
•  Provide students with basic health services throughout the school day.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies, pass medications, have knowledge on diabetics and documentation.
• Manage students who have chronic health conditions and students with disabilities. This includes giving them medication as needed and working with parents and teachers to create and enforce care plans.
• Working as a school nurse requires organization, as you will often handle many cases throughout the day and school year.
• Flexibility is a must as you will be treating students with a scope of needs.

*RN or LPN with an active license in Illinois.
