School Psychologist - Contract 

Location: Anoka, MN

Required Qualifications:

• 
  

  Must have a PELSB Tier 3 or Tier 4 license

  
  


• 
  

  Candidates eligible for a PELSB Tier 2 license are also considered, provided they are enrolled in a teacher preparation program or have a Master’s degree in the content area.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working in schools or with children.

  
  


• 
  

  A Master’s degree from a NASP-accredited university.

  
  

Job Description

• 
  

  Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to help students overcome behavioral and psychological problems

  
  


• 
  

  Assess and evaluate students’ learning abilities, emotional well-being, and social skills

  
  


• 
  

  Provide direct and indirect psychological services to prekindergarten through grade 12 students who are at risk of social and academic failure

  
  


• 
  

  Serve as a technical assistant for the support of implementation of RTI in the assigned schools (if applicable)

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with the school’s Special Education team
