We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a full-time School Social Worker to join our team for the 2024-25 school year. You will have the opportunity to support elementary school students. This role entails working alongside another full-time social worker to divide the caseload between special education and general education, ensuring a well-balanced workload.

Your Role:

• Conduct Assessments: Evaluate students' needs through formal assessments and develop appropriate action plans.
• Advocate for Students: Act as a liaison between the student, school, and community resources to ensure students’ rights and needs are met.
• Promote a Positive School Climate: Foster an inclusive and supportive school environment that promotes the well-being of all students.
• Collaborate with Teachers and Staff: Work with educators and school personnel to identify and support at-risk students.
• Maintain Confidential Records: Keep detailed and confidential records of student interactions, progress, and interventions.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
• IL PEL with an endorsement in Social Work
• Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred
