• Provide individual and group counseling or social-emotional interventions.
  
  


• Assess student needs and recommend appropriate supports and services.
  
  


• Advocate for student needs and contribute to individualized support strategies.
  
  


• Connect students and families with relevant community resources and services.
  
  


• Assist with crisis response and other situations requiring immediate intervention.
  
  


• Collaborate with families and school staff regarding student concerns and progress.
  
  


• Maintain accurate case notes, service records, and student progress documentation.
  
  


• Participate in IEP meetings, student support meetings, and multidisciplinary planning.
  
  

Requirements

1. At least possess a Master’s degree in Social Work
   
   


2. School-based experience is preferred but not required.
   
   


3. Active Illinois PEL with School Social Worker endorsement.
