How You’ll Make a Difference
In this role, you’ll help students navigate social, emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns by providing individualized support and group-based interventions. You’ll identify barriers to student success, develop strategies to address their needs, track progress, and connect students and families with appropriate educational and community resources.
Working alongside teachers, administrators, families, and related-service professionals, you’ll help coordinate student support and promote a positive school experience. Additional responsibilities include contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing social work insight during educational planning, and maintaining accurate records of services and student progress.
