Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct trauma-informed intake assessments and develop individualized mental health treatment plans
- Deliver individual and small group evidence-based therapy including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused techniques
- Assess suicide and self-harm risk, develop safety plans, and respond to mental health crises
- Facilitate family meetings, caregiver training, and mental health education Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and treatment progress records
- Collaborate with school counselors, special education staff, nurses, and community partners
- Contribute to mental health awareness initiatives and staff training
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health, or related clinical field
- Active Tennessee licensure: LCSW, LPC, LMSW, MSW, or equivalent
- Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of school-based mental health, clinical social work, or school counseling experience
- Training in TF-CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based modalities
- Experience with crisis intervention and suicide and self-harm assessment
