Scribe - Urgent Care

Transcribes information dictated by the Emergency Department Physician into the medical record. Demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology and maintains patient confidentiality.

Work requires a High School diploma with some college credit toward a degree in a healthcare related field. Bilingual a plus. 

Works with equipment or performs procedures where carelessness would probably result in minor cuts, bruises or muscle pulls.

Works in an area in which there is exposure to hazardous chemicals or carcinogenic agents which requires caution and use of established safety guidelines and equipment.

Works in an area in which there is exposure to radiation which requires caution and use of established safety guidelines and equipment.

Work requires exposure to blood and various body fluids which requires caution and use of established safety guidelines and equipment.

Works in an area that is very uncomfortable because of extreme temperatures, noise levels, odors or other similar conditions.

Works requires handling of hot liquids, toxic or flammable chemicals, or contaminated materials which requires caution and use of established safety guidelines and equipment.
