Scrub Technician

Position: Full-time

Duties:

• Provide clinical surgical scrubbing services for procedures in the operating room, including but not limited to Cardiothoracic, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic Surgery, and more.
• Prepare sterile fields, maintain sterile conditions during procedures, and handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment such as microscopes, lasers, and laparoscopic tools.
• Assist the surgical team by anticipating the needs of the surgeon, managing supplies, positioning patients, and ensuring all surgical materials are accounted for.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a busy operating room with exposure to complex surgical cases.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and, ideally, certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician or Surgical Technologist.
• Proven ability to maintain a sterile environment, adhere to infection control standards, and respond to critical situations in surgery.
