Seasonal Door Shop Worker

Summary: The employee performs a variety of duties including assemble doors, unload stock and inbound materials, and prep and load doors for shipment.

Role and Responsibilities 

• Assemble door components per customer specifications


• Perform regular inspections, routine maintenance, and cleaning of equipment


• Fabricating Doors and Windows.


• Fill customer orders in a timely & efficient manner


• Lift/Carry 65 lbs Frequently


• Lift 75-84 lbs Frequently


• Push/Pull 44lbs Frequently


• Experience with woodworking power tools


• Safely operate a forklift to assist in the handling of materials


• Sweep and clean work area


• Assist in counting inventory


• Assist in reducing operating costs and increasing productivity


• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers

Position Qualifications

• Must have skills working with basic wood working and metal working tools.


• Must be able to follow written instructions so shipping papers can be easily followed and needed information can be filled.


• Able to work under minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks, and interact with others in a professional manner.


• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred


• Knowledge of carpentry or construction experience is a plus
