Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Section Manager Product Support 2, for BATTS PST Training IPT to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This leadership position is located onsite in Melbourne, Florida reporting to the Training Department manager, and will be a key member of the Product Support leadership team.\n\nIn this role you will be responsible for but not limited to:\n\nManaging and coordinating the training personnel efforts in support of the BATTS program and serve as primary POC for Product Support training team with NG Leadership and Government counterparts.\n\nUnderstanding all the contractual requirements and taking accountability for the development, delivery, and sustainment of training artifacts and publications to support operation and maintenance during all phases of development, test, and operations.\n\nIdentifying design and issue impacts across products and communicating to all stakeholders.\n\nCoordinates to establish people, process, and tools needed to execute within the BATTS program.\n\nIdentifies risks and opportunities and coordinates with project teams to mitigate and retire risks.\n\nAssesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.\n\nPrepares briefings for management and develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and tools for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, suppliers and clients.\n\nResponsible for the management of the training development team.\n\nProvides direction to subordinates.\n\nDrive improved employee engagement and appreciation through verbal, written, and tangible recognition, events, and personal interactions.\n\nDevelop the team, train in methods and procedures, conduct performance appraisals, counsel employees, and make other personnel decisions as required.\n\nServe as the Release Train Engineer; break down communication barriers, execute incremental planning, capacity tracking, collaboration with supporting Agile Release Train\u2019s and completion reporting.\n\nWe offer flexible work arrangements, 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. You deliver excellence, strive for continuous improvement, and respond vigorously to change.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Must have a bachelor\u2019s degree AND 9 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in management, OR a Master\u2019s degree AND 7 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in management.\n * Must possess strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills\n * Must have active government Secret Clearance\n * Must have ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.\n * Experience leading a training curriculum development team, either as a lead or manager.\n * Experience with Safe Agile working practices\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Current Special Program Access (PAR)\n * Military aviation maintenance and/or pilot experience is preferred.\n * Previous experience in Instructional System Design and curriculum development\n * Experience with military equipment manufacturing process \u0026 overall logistics processes from design to sustainment\n * Agile certifications\n * Exceptional internal \u0026 external customer service skills\n * Forward thinking in Training development processes, planning \u0026 tracking\n\n\n\nWe offer flexible work arrangements, 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. We are looking for self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented people to help us grow our services and become even better at what we do.\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $172,400.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
