Varonis Security Architect Job Description

 

The Varonis Security Architect will serve as a subject matter expert supporting account teams and clients to uncover pain/challenges in complex security ecosystems, propose solutions, and demonstrate the unique value of Varonis capabilities. They will maintain expertise on security best practices and the larger security solution landscape to educate customers, prospects, and Varonis employees. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales in strategic and important security-focused meetings.
  • Facilitate incident response engagements during the sales cycle.
  • Validate postural/threat findings and coordinate investigative efforts with customers and internal teams.
  • Support strategic customers to operationalize Varonis threat detection capabilities.
  • Coordinate evaluations of Varonis MDDR and drive subsequent value conversations with the client.
  • Identify business needs and technical objectives to demonstrate how Varonis fills gaps in the security ecosystem.
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations of Varonis’ products and services to further sales objectives, education, and marketing objectives.
  • Attend various physical and virtual events, often involving a speaking role.
  • Aid with processing of RFP’s and RFI’s relating to Varonis capabilities.
  • Collect, analyze, and document field feedback for ongoing collaboration with R&D to prioritize features, determine product gaps, and raise technical bugs.
  • Communicate product updates and recommendations to field & customers.
  • Enable the sales organization with presentations, whitepapers, technical labs, and other materials to technically educate internal resources.
  • Communicate with Sales to relay roadmap, timelines, product features and current Varonis value.

 

Requirements

  • Proficiency with securing Cloud and Self-Hosted networks.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Purview and data labeling practices preferred.
  • Experience with incident response and investigations.
  • Knowledge of leading security vendors in endpoint security, network security, SIEM, and SOAR product spaces.
  • Experience with identity management, monitoring, and threat detection in Microsoft ecosystems.
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrate strong written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to all audiences ranging from non-technical people to executive level technical decision-makers.
