As a Security Guard Patrol Specialist in Stanford, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within an educational campus environment.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with campus contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns for follow-up.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations in accordance with post instructions and site expectations.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports while supporting a professional and courteous environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
