Security Guard Wanted — Suffolk County, Long Island, NY
 

**Shifts Available:**
- 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Evening Shift)
- 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (Overnight Shift)
 

**Location:** Suffolk County, Long Island, NY
 

We are seeking dependable, alert, and professional Security Guards to join our team. Both evening and overnight shifts are available — full-time, part-time, and flexible scheduling options may be offered.

Starting Pay $18.50 - $20.00
 

Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or other security concerns
- Control access points; verify identification of visitors, employees, and vendors
- Conduct regular walkthroughs and log all activity in daily reports
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems and security equipment
- Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter unauthorized activity
- Communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency services, and site management when needed
- Enforce site policies, rules, and safety procedures
 

Requirements
- Valid NYS Security Guard License (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation to job site
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, including outdoors in varying weather
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and stay alert during overnight hours
- Clean background check
- Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus (not required)
